Our first official house party was yesterday!!!!! Who said it had to be in an actual house, anyway? Thank you so much to Michele, Jacob, Ruth, Gracie, Mike, Cindy, Ken, Kara, and Marie for coming out and supporting Angelica, Barb and Lauren. Your support means a lot to us! We introduced Oxfam, Oxfam America, Adaptation, and each other! Then, in true action corps manner, took some action and wrote letters to our legislators: Harry Reid, Jon Porter and Shelley Berkely. We also watched a DVD on poverty and ate some chocolate cupcakes with Oxfam green frosting and decided on the time and date of our next meeting; Ju
