We are a group of concerned Las Vegas citizens (volunteering with Oxfam America) uniting with 12 other cities across the country, to raise awareness of and take action in the climate change debate. We are non-partisan and open to all!!!

Summerlin Earthfaire! April 19th




Hi Everyone!

So, we went out to the Earthfaire, eventhough we were unable to reserve a table. We wanted to do some mingling with green-minded "earthy" people and just get a good idea of who exactly that might be in Las Vegas.

We were asked to leave about 45 minutes into the event because we weren't registered to be there. However, by that time we had already secured about 30 signatures or so and talked to a lot of people. Some awarenes was raised and some interests piqued. Also, we were able to start some buzz in the community and get the LV action corps on the lips of a few people - what more could we ask for?

Angelica did manage to sign us up for next year and we are really excited to be able to return in 364 days and get a lot more accomplished! If you'd like to come along next year let us know!
